Billy is a successful entrepreneur and well-known venture capitalist, focusing on investment in technology startups. He has extensive experience in running his family owned semi-conductor distribution and mobile game business. He has an extraordinary record in cultivating unicorn startups with huge growth potential in recent years. His successful investments, including Indonesian e-commerce unicorn Tokopedia and Hong Kong transportation unicorn GoGoVan, have promoted him from a successful industrialist to a well-known tech entrepreneur and Asian investor.
Peter has over 24 years of experience in the finance, media, digital media, entertainment and technology verticals. Previously, Peter was Managing Partner and Head of Ventures at Fourward Group, a management company and strategic advisory firm focused on media and entertainment. Prior to Fourward, Peter was a Managing Director at ROAR, a Beverly Hill based talent agency. Peter also co-founded Condition One (a VR startup backed by Mark Cuban), built WireImage/MediaVast (acquired by Getty Images for $209M) and was VP/GM at Viacom’s BET Networks.
Additionally, he worked as a venture partner at Mesa+ and was Strategic Advisor to VICE Media. Peter currently serves on the Facebook Diversity and Inclusion Advisory Board, is a Venture Partner at Smash Ventures and acts as strategic advisor to WPP where he created the diversity and inclusion practice. Peter started his career at Salomon Brothers.
Warren is a Partner at Soul Ventures, focusing on investments in consumer technology, AI, SaaS and fintech. He has most recently led the fund's investments in Epic Games, Anjuke and Didi Grocery. Warren is also an advisor at Smash Ventures.
Previously, Warren worked as Vice President in the Investment Banking Division at Morgan Stanley where he focused on IPOs, M&A and capital raising for Asia Pacific corporates. Prior to that Warren was in Debt Capital Markets at Morgan Stanley where he originated bond issuances.
Warren received his B.A. from the University of Southern California.
Joseph Daniels is co-chair of McCarter’s Venture Capital & Emerging Growth Companies practice. He represents startup and publicly held technology, life science, and consumer companies as well as venture capital funds, private equity funds, and investment banks in a wide range of seed and venture financings, mergers and acquisitions, IPOs, and other public offerings. He regularly advises a broad range of startups, venture-backed companies, and venture capital funds and has led hundreds of venture and strategic financing transactions.
Joe also serves as outside general counsel for numerous companies, assisting them with everything from day-to-day business transactions to multinational strategic alliance transactions, such as technology and distribution partnerships and joint ventures. He focuses on representing clients involved in high-growth sectors and has experience with a vast number of industries, including adtech, agile aerospace, artificial intelligence, biotech, blockchain, cleantech, consumer, cryptocurrency, digital media, ecommerce, energy, Internet of Things, fintech/financial services, life sciences, mobile, semiconductor, software, and telecommunications.
